Course Description
As part of the Biblical Foundations curriculum, Affirmations for Evangelists course is foundational for an evangelism healing ministry. We will discuss the foundational practices of great evangelists and explore 11 tenets that have been historically effective in evangelism. These points are the basics for Word inspired preaching and miracles as well as the organizational foundation for Tent Nation (Christian Adventures) and iMOVE courses.
This course will introduce you to the legacy of Billy Graham, the Amsterdam Affirmations, and the Modesto Manifesto. We will learn how the most effective evangelists committed themselves to living above reproach and taught others to do the same. We will discuss many miracles that God used always to confirm that He is still at work in the lives of His people.
Course Objective
This course will help you become established in the foundational evangelistic precepts to further the Kingdom of God and bring healing to people as you understand the importance of the position on miracles we must hold as iterant ministers, evangelists, Christians, and believers.
Learning Outcomes
It is necessary to return to foundational practices of our faith.
The world needs evangelists who are willing to bring the Good News.
Evangelists must commit to the highest standard of integrity.
You will understand the great power of the Cross.
God’s miracle power is inherent in His Word.
You will understand the importance of miracles in ministry.
You will discover that some people are healed instantly and others over time.
You will learn how the power of witness can change a city.
You will realize the importance of inviting people to call on the Name of the LORD.
You will learn about the unchanging nature of God.
You will get a better idea of the Biblical evidence of God’s desire to heal.
You will get a deeper understanding of the Great Commission.
You will recognize that divine healing is an ordinance to be administered through elders and through Communion.
Author-Dr. Leslie McNulty
Dr. Leslie McNulty is an internationally acclaimed public speaker, author, certified John Maxwell coach and TV host of Divinely Inspired Ideas for Life. Dr. McNulty also works as a global strategist and teacher.
As a global communicator, Dr. Leslie McNulty is known for her simple and passionate message. Dr. McNulty has addressed crowds of 5,000 to 250,000 and has won acclaim as one of the emerging international women’s voices of our time.
Co-founder of Christian Adventures International, with offices in the U.S., Russia and India, and pioneer of the Eurasian 100-Tent Project, she regularly conducts national leadership conferences entitled “Women of Miraculous Destiny.”
Along with her husband, Kevin, she served for 16 years as co-minister and Global Event Director for the late Missionary Statesman Dr. T. L. Osborn.
Dr. McNulty was catapulted into a drastically different phase of life in 1988, when her career changed from a bank manager and commercial loan officer in Florida to worldwide public figure. Through 10 years of experience living in Russia establishing churches, Bible schools and training missionaries, combined with experience in over 60 nations, she has developed a unique, intense perspective for today’s global environment. She holds a degree in Finance from Stetson University, a bachelor’s degree in Church Administration, a master’s degree in Theology and a conferred doctorate from Life Christian University.
